Last week brought the news that NBC would officially give birth to its 'Rosemary's Baby' remake miniseries in mid-May, though at the time, footage from the four-hour special proved somewhat fleeting. Now, the full cast and horror-filled scope of the new 'Rosemary's Baby' has been revealed in the first completed trailer, and Zoe Saldana's pipes sound like they could use a rest from the screaming.

Courtesy of Buzzfeed, the first full trailer for the new 'Rosemary's Baby' takes us into the story to see how Guy ('Suits' star Patrick J. Adams) conspires with Roman Castevet (Awake’ star and ‘Harry Potter‘ baddie Jason Isaacs) around the birth of his child. Poor Rosemary subsequently languishes in paranoia over her impending motherhood, accusing the neighbors of witchcraft, and making a few disturbing discoveries during the ultrasound.

Apart from shifting the New York setting to Paris, the four-hour NBC remake will otherwise follow the 1968 film’s plot of a young couple who struggle to become pregnant before the resulting conception drives Rosemary to increased paranoia toward her husband and the neighbors’ intentions for the child. The first two hours of its ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ remake miniseries will air on Sunday, May 11 from 9:00 – 11:00 P.M., competing against the likes of ABC’s ‘Revenge‘ season 2 and ‘Once Upon A Time‘ season 3 finales. The second half of the four-hour miniseries will air in the same timeslot on Thursday, May 15.

Scott Abbott and James Wong (‘The X-Files,’ ‘American Horror Story‘) wrote the screenplay for the four-hour reboot, while Agnieszka Holland (‘Treme‘) directs. Check out the full trailer for NBC’s ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ above, and tell us in the comments if you’ll tune in for the May 11 due date!
