ABERDEEN - The Northern State University marching band is preparing to take part in President Barack Obama's inauguration parade on Monday.

Marching Wolves color guard director Bailey Geist tells the American News that she thinks the experience will give the students a renewed sense of patriotism.

More than 100 NSU students will march down Pennsylvania Ave. in the nation's capital. Junior Abby Klumb says she looks forward to seeing the president wave at the band.

Band members will play the song "This is My Country" as they march.
