One in Ten Women Love Their Pet More Than Their Mate

What I’m about to say might be tough for some guys to hear, but every man needs to hear it.

There's a one in 10 chance your wife or girlfriend loves your dog more than she loves you. Yep, forget about the flirty co-worker she has or the old boyfriend you think she's still holding a torch for; it's the family dog you need to start worrying about.

If it comes down to a choice between you and the dog, there's a one in 10 chance you come out on the losing end according to a new survey from The Telegraph.

But wait, it gets better, another one in three ladies claim to love their pet as MUCH as their mate. That means only about 60% of women actually love their significant other more than their pet!

Here are four more interesting things that came out of that survey:

• More than 50% of women turn to their pet for comfort after a big blowout with you.

• 39% look to the dog for a little affection when they feel like they're being ignored or neglected by you.

• 81% of women view pets as a family member.

• And 38% would be willing to get a highfalutin Raoul Felder, Laura Wasser type lawyer and go through a bitter custody battle over the pet in the event of a break-up with their mate.

So you better watch your backs guys, all this time we thought the dog was man's best friend.

Hey here’s an idea, the next time your wife or girlfriend asks you to help clean up the house, mow the yard or change the oil in her car, why don’t you tell her to have the dog do it. We’ll see how that works out for her.
