Patty’s Ponderings-Cautiously Optimistic

Is Sioux Falls on the cusp of a huge financial expansion? How could you, as a regular hardworking, paycheck-to-paycheck, kind of person tell? Those are two very good questions, that I don’t know the answer to but, I do have a few thoughts on the matter.

If you have had any conversations with home builders, or home building suppliers lately, the buzz is good. Real good. Sales are up, moods are up and optimism is flourishing. People that have money are starting to spend it and that can be good for everyone.

I have had several discussions with people here at the Sioux Empire Home Show and they are truly upbeat about the economy. So it is hard to resist jumping on the “better times” bandwagon and hoping for a less bumpy ride for us all.
