PetSmart Accepting Donations to Help out Hurricane Harvey Pets
The hurricane that continues to torture parts of Texas in and around the Houston area has left so many people without a home, which in-turn has resulted in a countless number of pets being left behind or in some cases lost.
Donations are now being accepted to help out all the displaced animals impacted by Harvey at both Sioux Falls PetSmart locations. The money raised will be used to help buy things like food, and cages, while the animals wait to be reunited with their pet parents.
Louise Avenue PetSmart Store Leader Scott Brennan, told KDLT News, “We believe that pets make us better people. So we look for every opportunity to help our pet parents and our pets have better lives. So what we have already done is PetSmart overall, we have donated a million dollars already to the relief efforts on the ground in Houston.”
