American Idol Phillip Phillips’ Mom Popped for DUI

She appeared on several episodes of American Idol  cheering on her son, Phillip Phillips, who won the title in Season 11.  Now, Sheryl Phillips is in the spotlight for being arrested for DUI.

TMZ.com is reporting via The Albany Herald, that Sheryl Jean Phillips was booked on charges of DUI after a traffic stop Thursday (Feb.14) in Albany, GA.

Phillips was reportedly seen weaving on the roadway and was pulled over by an officer.

Phillip Phillips is set to perform a sold-out show at the Washington Pavilion or Tuesday, March 19.
