There are A LOT of restaurants in Sioux Falls.  As a matter of fact, there are over 650 with something to satisfy everyone's taste buds. From fast food to fine dining, there are plenty of options.

Not only do we have a lot of restaurants, we have really good restaurants and some of them have even been voted 'the best."

A few weeks ago we told you that C.H. Patisserie in downtown Sioux Falls was voted one of America's best bakeries.  Carnaval Brazilian Grill was named one of the Top 100 steakhouses in the country and yesterday (December 30), Budget Travel posted a list of the top diners in America and Phillips Avenue Diner in downtown Sioux Falls made the short list.

The blog stated:

We not only know the 10 states that love diners most, but we also know the top-rated diners in each of those states.

With the help of Foursquare, they found the best diners and what you should order.

According to the blog, here's what you should order at Phillips Avenue Diner:

The Salty Dog Crazy Shake, made with caramel, sea salt, and beer nuts ($6), to wash down the Mac & Cheese Fritters, "our house mac & cheese rolled into crunchy nuggets of joy, served with honey mustard sauce for dipping" ($8.50)

The Diner recently remodeled.  The next time you're shopping in downtown Sioux Falls, make sure you stop and see the new look, taste the great selections on the menu, and of course, get a malt.

You have to try the poutine. It's a pile of french fries topped with pulled pork, Dimock cheese curds and gravy! I could take a bath in that!

If this were my last meal, I'd die happy.

How about an order of chicken and waffles?
