‘Pitch Perfect 2′ Casts ‘Sing-Off’ Contestants the Filharmonic [VIDEO]

Fans of ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ and the reality TV show ‘The Sing-Off’ now have something in common — they’ll both get to watch the a cappella group, the Filharmonic, perform onscreen, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The six-member group came in fourth place on the show’s fifth season, but they didn’t let the loss bring them down. The California natives will be getting into the acting groove with Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and the rest of the ‘Pitch Perfect’ cast for the comedy sequel.

If you missed the Filharmonic’s performances on ‘The Sing-Off,’ you can check out one of their performances below. The guys create a slick sound by combining pop and hip-hop influences. And those beatboxing skills will be the perfect addition to the film!

Filharmonic will hit the big screens in ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ on May 15, 2015.
