The superstitious among us talk about things coming in threes. Sioux Falls Police now have three break-ins to investigate from the past two days.

Gustaf’s Greenery on Minnesota Avenue was burglarized between close of business Sunday and the store’s opening on Monday. Very little was taken as the report showed only a couple of phones and a small amount of cash was taken.

Spencer Furniture and Floors in the south central portion of the city was not as fortunate when cash, merchandise and a moving truck were missing when the store opened on Monday. The valued estimate of items taken from that scene numbered in the thousands of dollars.

Lightning Towing on W. Sixth Street discovered Tuesday morning that their business got ransacked during the night. According to police, thieves were only able to get away with some camera equipment. However for this retailer, this was the second burglary in the last two months. Thus the feeling is all too familiar when it comes to being victimized.
