Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man who is accused of using counterfeit money at a Mankato, Minnesota liquor store. According to southernminnesotanews, Michael James Jackson III passed fake $50 bills at Joseph’s Liquor in late July and early August.

The bills did pass the “marker test,” but were spotted when the money was deposited at Community Bank. Officials say they did not have a hologram and also felt different and were smaller than legitimate bills.

There have also been reports in Le Sueur, Minnesota that a business there also received $20 counterfeit bills. It is yet to be determined if Jackson was linked to both crimes.
