Police say an incident that left a Sioux Falls man with gunshot wounds early Sunday may have been drug related.

Information Officer Sam Clemens says police were called around 1:45 a.m. to a report of a shooting in the 3900 block of South Terry Avenue, where a man had gone to a neighbor's home to report that his roommate had been shot:

Clemens says police believe three shots were fired, with two going through a wall and into the other half of the duplex, but no one else was injured.

Clemens says neither the 33-year-old victim nor his roommate saw the gunman, but he says police believe the incident may have been drug-related. He says detectives are still trying to put together information on exactly what happened, but the victim is believed to have been the intended target.
