Portugal. The Man’s Tour Bus Catches on Fire in Iowa

One of the hottest bands in 2018 just got even hotter! Portugal.The Man was set to perform in Iowa at the IMU Ballroom on Tuesday night when their tour bus caught on fire. The bus was sitting near the Iowa Memorial Union on the University of Iowa campus.

Firefighters said that no one was on the bus at the time of the fire and that no one was injured. According to the Washington Post, the fire is believed to have started in the heating and cooling system. The cause is being investigated. Thankfully the Iowa City Fire Department was able to put the fire out quickly and the show went on without any delays for the sold-out show.

Next stop on the tour is at The Blue Note in Columbia, Missouri on Wednesday. The band won a Grammy last month in the best pop duo/group performance category for their hit song, "Feel It Still."
