Crews repairing Xcel Energy's electricity grid, which was damaged by the ice and snow storm, have been wrapping up their efforts, although some work is still going on.

Spokesman Jim Wilcox says crews have restored power to all customers the company knows about, although he says some can't be hooked up yet because of damage that requires an electrician to make repairs before the company can restore power.

Wilcox says some temporary connections that were made last week to get power restored are now being made permanent.

He says some of the out-of-state crews that have been working with Xcel Energy under mutual aid agreements have been released, but some company crews from Minnesota and Wisconsin and some contract crews are still working.

Some 90,000 customers in Sioux Falls and other communities in South Dakota and southwestern Minnesota experienced outages since the storm hit on April 9.
