No there wasn't a winner!

I didn't even check to see I matched any of numbers on my Powerball Lottery ticket.

If a potential jackpot of nearly $950 million wasn't enough reason to buy a Powerball lottery ticket, then how about $1.4 billion?

The way lottery officials tell it, there was a 3 out of 4 chance that somebody would win the Powerball jackpot of nearly $950 million. That's because they expected about 75 percent of the possible number combinations would be bought in time for last night's drawing. But nobody got all six numbers.

Already the biggest prize in U.S. lottery history, the expected payout for the next drawing this coming Wednesday is a whopping $1.4 billion or more. Saturday's winning numbers were: 16-19-32-34-57 and the Powerball number 13.

Here's what we want to know:

  • How many tickets will you buy?
  • Will you pick your own numbers or let the machine choose?
  • Who will you tell first if you win?
