Four areas of Sioux Falls are receiving a helping hand from volunteers starting Monday, April 18, through Projects NICE and KEEP.

Project NICE (Neighborhood Improvement Complaint Easement) identifies specific neighborhoods at risk of nuisance concerns and assists the neighborhoods in addressing those concerns. Because of the success of Project NICE the City of Sioux Falls developed Project KEEP (Keep Environmental Enhancement Permanent). City volunteers clean up NICE and KEEP areas each year in efforts to keep the areas clean and without nuisance.

During clean up, materials are recycled for multiple uses, and other materials are sent to the Sioux Falls Regional Landfill.

Visit SiouxFalls.org to find more information and designated project areas for 2016.

Maps of the areas can be found here.
