Remember, Red Means Stop! Police Will Be Watching For Drivers Running Red Lights In Sioux Falls

If you will be driving in Sioux Falls on Saturday, November 8th, take this piece of advice:  do not run a red light!  The Sioux Falls Police Department will be conducting a Red Light Violation Saturation Patrol on Saturday, November 8th from 10 AM to 4 PM.

An additional 10 police officers will be patrolling the city watching for drivers who think they can just cruise on through the red lights.

Authorities say red light violations are a contributing factor in the number of traffic collisions in Sioux Falls.  Police officers will also be watching for impaired drivers during the Red Light Violation Saturation Patrol.
