Have you ever driven over a pot hole in Sioux Falls and wondered if you lost your tire?  With the freeze/thaw cycle we're seeing in the Sioux Empire, you'll come across a lot more of those annoying little bumps in the road.

The Public Works Street Division is patching potholes during this stretch of warmer weather and asks citizens to report streets in need of attention. The Public Works Street Division is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is ready to assist. To report a pothole, please call the Pothole Hotline at 367-8002.

"With the normal freeze/thaw cycle we have experienced recently, some streets are showing some extra wear and tear,” says Galynn Huber, Street and Fleet Operations Manager. “Drivers really are our eyes and ears, and we want you to reach out to us and let us know if there is a pothole in need of repair."

Again, to report a pothole, call 367-8002.
