Rick Springfield Arrested

Rick Springfield got himself hauled to the pokey on Friday. The LAPD picked Rick up at his home Friday morning on a bench warrant that was issued Wednesday after he missed a court date he had dealing with a past DUI bust.

The L.A. County Sheriff's Department confirmed to E! News that Springfield called his wife, she got the paper work together and went down to the police station and straightened things out. He was not booked on any charge.

Ricky did find time to post this on facebook: "My home away from home. Lost hills sheriff station," "Arrested this a.m. on a bench warrant. I didn't know that I was supposed appear in court a few weeks ago. It was to do with the old DUI charge and it's been cleared up and i am free to go. Thought I might miss the gig tonight but I will be there and we will celebrate together. Life is not boring. XOXO.

To the pleasure of his fans he wasn't late to belt out "Jessies Girl" one more time.
