Three teenagers were involved in a single vehicle rollover accident overnight near the Baltic Corner in eastern South Dakota.

KDLT News is reporting the accident occurred during the early morning hours of Thursday, (March 30) near 250th Street and 477th Avenue, about 2 miles east of the Baltic Corner.

When first responder crews arrived on the scene, they discovered that one of the teenage passengers had been ejected from the vehicle. Two of occupants inside the vehicle needed to be transported to a Sioux Falls hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries, while the third occupant was treated for minor injuries.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation at this time, but early indicators show that reckless driving was more than likely a contributing factor.
