Sara Skyberg – Cure Kids Cancer

Sara was abandoned in an open field in Nepal by her birth parents and spent her first years in an orphanage.  She was adopted by her loving parents, Ray and Beatrice Skyberg from Valley Springs, SD.  The joy they felt with their new addition to their family turned to fear for her life when she was diagnosed with leukemia not long after coming to the United States. But Sara is a fighter and now she is a survivor.

Hear Sara’s story accompanied by Bon Jovi’s “Welcome to Wherever You Are.”
