I haven't been this happy since Rick Springfield took his shirt off in concert at Grand Falls Casino.  Two of my favorite TV shows of all time were "Alice" and "Will and Grace."  NBC is bringing together Sean Hayes, who played Jack on "Will and Grace" and Linda Lavin who played the title character on "Alice," for a show called "Sean Saves the World."

The show features Hayes as a divorced gay father with a successful, yet demanding, career.  His 14-year-old daughter moves in with him and he's forced to juggle work, his mom (played by Lavin) and trying to be a good father.

I really, really hope this show does well.  There aren't many sitcoms on TV anymore that can survive due to the abundance of reality shows.   The show debuts Thursday, October 3 at 8 p.m.

I will be watching...and hoping Karen Walker and Vera Louise Gorman show up as crazy next door neighbors.
