Police are investigating shots fired at a home in the 2300 block of Western Avenue Monday night, where a resident discovered a bullet hole and police found a 9 millimeter casing.

Officer Sam Clemens says the resident heard a noise early Monday (May 9, 2016) morning, but thought nothing of it and went back to sleep. He later found a bullet hole in a wall and called police, who searched the area and found a 9 millimeter casing in the street and traced the bullet in the home through two walls, ending up in a TV.

The round, which came from the street, is believed to be random and not intended for the resident specifically.  There are no suspects at this time.
