UPDATE: Sioux Falls Police sent out a press release that detailed the incident and the findings as of Thursday afternoon. 

On (Thursday March 24) at 1353 hours Sioux Falls Police were dispatched to the area of 13th Street and Willow Avenue for a report of shots fired. The initial information was that someone was injured. Officers arrived and did not locate a victim or suspect.

Witnesses in the area did report hearing shots being fired. Officers did locate 2 shell casings in the 500 block of S. Willow Avenue. Officers followed up on all available leads.

Anndrea Anderson of KDLT News reported initially that there are no injuries or victims. Witnesses say there were shots fired from a vehicle before it left quickly.
