If you were afraid to find a ticket at home after work for not getting the snow and ice off your sidewalk this afternoon, we've got good news and bad news.

The good news is there won't be a ticket waiting today. The bad news is you still have to figure out a way to get all that ice off your sidewalk before Thursday afternoon at 2pm.

With the warmer sunny afternoon weather in Sioux Falls today and even warmer temps expected Wednesday (highs pushing 40) it will hopefully be a little easier to get the walks cleared.

And no, the plows likely won't be coming down your street to clear up THAT mess. The city only issues snow alerts to plow those streets if we get over two inches of snow. The storm that hammered much of South Dakota Saturday into Monday only left about 1.8 inches of snow.
