If you live in Sioux Falls, you already know it's a great place to put down roots.  It is fun however to see how our fair city gets noticed by other national organizations, especially when they rank us as one of the Top 100 Best Places to Live in 2018.

The ranking by Livability.com highlights the many positives of Sioux Falls. “The 2018 Best Place to Live list includes a fascinating mix of familiar cities and first-timers that are starting to carve out a reputation as wonderful places to live,” says Winona Dimeo-Ediger, Livability.com’s managing editor.

The largest city in South Dakota, Sioux Falls is the fastest growing metro area in the Midwest and has solid infrastructure in place. Big Sioux River is a focal point within the city and provides several outdoor recreation opportunities, and entertainment options for residents include sporting events, live music, art shows, festivals and more than 650 restaurants. A dynamic downtown is highlighted by action along Phillips Avenue and five historic districts, and housing options are abundant and affordable. Residents are also privy to two top healthcare systems as well as Sioux Falls Regional Airport, Empire Mall (180 stores) and 70 parks and greenways.

What are your favorite things about living in Sioux Falls?  I love the friendly small town feel with the convenience of great shopping, activities and excellent health care, right here at home.
