Sioux Falls Health Department Enhances Mosquito Control Program

The city of Sioux Falls Health Department recently received a thirty thousand dollar grant to enhance the mosquito control program in the area.

The grant will be used to enhance surveillance for and treatment of mosquitoes in and around the Sioux Falls area.

According to Denise Patton of the Sioux Falls Health Department "the additional funding will allow us to expand our ability to track and control mosquitoes that pose the highest risk to our citizens."
