Sioux Falls High on the List of Most Livable Cities in the Country

Once again this year, Sioux Falls appears on Livability.com's Top 100 Best Places to Live list. Writer Marc Acton examined a number of different components that landed Sioux Falls in the number ten position out of 100 Most Livable Cities in the U.S.

He describes Sioux Falls as being at the "intersection of rural charm and big-city culture" and having a unique balance of "small-town vibe and urban opportunity". He addresses our academic, medical, financial, agribusiness, grocery and telecom industries as adding to the high livability score.

Sioux Falls garnered high marks for housing affordability, employment and career options, arts and entertainment and more. In fact the reason Sioux Falls appears so high on the list is that it scored high in almost all categories.
