I know it's hard to imagine playing baseball right now, especially with the sub zero temps we are experiencing, but nevertheless the Sioux Falls Little League is currently holding tryouts.

Fortunately auditions for the team are taking place indoors. As it would be a little tough to show team officials what you've got while wearing a parka, gloves, a stocking cap, and a pair of insulated boots.

Coming off their historic first season, that took them all the way to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, the team is looking for their next crop of players to see if they can do it again!

KSFY TV is reporting that tryouts for the 2018 Sioux Falls Little League season are currently underway now through Saturday, (December 30) at the Academy in Harrisburg.

Boys wishing to give it a shot, can tryout during the following times each day:

  • December 27 from 7:00-8:30 PM
  • December 28 from 5:30-7:00 PM
  • December 29 from 5:30-7:00 PM
  • December 30 from 2:30-4:00 PM

According to KSFY, the league will add a new division for 9-10 year olds during the 2018 season as well.
