Sioux Falls Man Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting Woman, Good Samaritan Who Stopped to Help
Police say two people who were asked to leave a bar in western Sioux Falls Monday night continued fighting in the car, and the fighting ended with a man’s arrest.
Lieutenant Matt Burns says police were called to Breck’s Bar, in the 8400 block of West 12th Street, shortly before 11:00 pm. But the two people involved had left the bar, and were located in a lot in the 4200 block of West 12th:
Burns says 38-year-old Timothy James Fink of Sioux Falls was arrested for simple assault, simple assault-domestic, false imprisonment, open container and DWI-second offense. He says Fink allegedly punched the 45-year-old woman and pulled her hair.
In addition, Fink struck a 24-year-old man in another vehicle, who didn’t know them, but stopped and helped the woman out of Fink’s car.
