A Sioux Falls man is doing his part to show his appreciation for the law enforcement community in the city.

Allen Luden has handed out nearly 200 free blue and red "law enforcement lives matter" t-shirts outside the Police Law Enforcement Center on West Fourth Street, and he has more shirts to give out.

Luden came up with the idea after seeing people in Dallas selling similar type shirts.

He's happy to give anyone a free shirt, with one stipulation, you must agree to wear it out in public.

According to Luden, "My ultimate goal would be that when the officers are out, they would see at least one t-shirt a day to know that people appreciate them.”

As of now, Luden plans to be at the same site each Friday handing out t-shirts while they last to anyone wishing to also show their support for Sioux Empire law enforcement members.
