Sioux Falls Police Department Looking For More Officers

If you would like to pursue a career in law enforcement, Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says his department is in the process of hiring.

"We just want to remind people we about a week left for applicants that went to apply for the positions. The application deadline is on Monday, February 29th, 2016. If anybody has interest in law enforcement - a great and rewarding career - we hope that they apply with us and we can get them on."

Clemens says interested applicants can find out more on-line.

"Go to the city's website. They actually have a specific one. It's called my.siouxfalls.org. There is information there on where to apply."

Clemens says the Sioux Falls Police Department will be hiring eight to ten new officers.
