Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens says a car was riddled with bullets early Wednesday morning.

"Somebody heard some gunshots in the One Thousand  Block of South Center Avenue around 3:30 AM. I think probably around 19th and 20th by Minnesota Avenue. I think we only had one call so far about the shooting. The person that heard the shots called it in. She actually found out it was her car that had been shot. The car was in the apartment parking lot behind the building. The vehicle was shot over ten times. So far, we have few leads to go on."

While police were investigating the shooting, Clemens says officers were dispatched to another location in Sioux Falls.

"It was 2809 South Main Avenue. There had been some type of disturbance. A caller told 911 they had heard a lot of yelling and screening. When officers got there, they saw a broken window and some blood. They were concerned that somebody may have been injured inside the house. They got a hold of the owner who was at a different place. She came over and brought out a few people in the house. Officers smelled marijuana coming from inside the house. They ended up getting a search warrant and then found some people hiding inside. Officers also found a small amount of mushrooms and marijuana."

A total of six people were charged with various drug related offenses.
