Sioux Falls Teens Arrested for Pot Following Traffic Stop
A Sioux Falls police officer making a traffic stop around 4:30 p.m. on Monday found marijuana in the vehicle, and three teenagers were arrested.
Information Officer Sam Clemens says the vehicle was stopped in the area of West 31st Street and South Norton Avenue after the officer noticed it was missing a brake light:
Clemens says 18-year-old Micah Ellefson of Sioux Falls and 18-year-old Devlin Tommeraasen of Harrisburg were both charged with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The 15-year-old girl from Tea was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. He says the marijuana in the vehicle totaled 33 grams.
