A Sioux Falls woman went to a hospital with injuries after she was assaulted by two people in a neighborhood in the central part of the city.

Captain Greg VandeKamp says the 49-year-old woman told police she was attacked by two acquaintances in the 600 block of South Prairie Avenue shortly after 10pm Wednesday:

"Through the investigation found that she had been drinking with a couple of known individuals to her in this area" said VandeKamp. "At some point there was a disagreement. The two other individuals assaulted the third. In the process of the assault the victim did end up with a broken arm."

VandeKamp says police were unable to locate the suspects. He says the victim's injuries were inflicted with fists and feet.
