To a kid, what is the fascination with bugs?  Come on Mom, they're cool!

Of all the camps that kids could attend this summer, the one that will be the most educational, interesting, and fun will be Bugs, Slugs and Butterflies sponsored by Ground Works Midwest.

On July 13th there will be two camps: 10:00 am-12:00 pm and 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum.

This camp will encourage a curiosity toward insects and show how insects are crucial to a healthy environment. Campers will learn about the importance of pollinators, like honey bees. Each camper will identify common butterflies and identify the best plants to grow for a butterfly habitat in their family’s backyard. Campers will come face to face with live honey bees butterflies and lady bugs.
