The group Loverboy had it right all along, everybody's "working for the weekend."

And with good reason, because the happiest moment of the week falls on the weekend.

According to a new study, the happiest moment of the entire week is 6:08 P.M. on Friday. It makes perfect sense when you stop and think about it, you just got out of work and you have the entire weekend ahead of you.

Unless of course you work in a profession like radio. The line heard most often around 5 P.M. on Friday in radio is, "Hey, have a great weekend, we'll see you tomorrow."

You see, radio people work quite frequently on the weekends, but that's okay, it's not like we're laying asphalt on a 97 degree day in July or anything. I mean let's be honest, most of the time we're sitting in an air conditioned room talking for 4-5 hours. Tough stuff, right?

But I digress.

So if 6:08 P.M. on a Friday is the happiest moment of the week, what is the moment we all dread the most?

According to the study, it's 1:42 P.M on Monday. That's when most people come to the realization you still have four-and-a-half days of work starring at you in the face before the weekend arrives, and you're already dragging.

Yep, that's depressing alright!
