Sometimes it feels like the world is against lefties.

Let's take driving for instance, cars are designed with the right-hand driver in mind. Example, how about the gear shift. It's placement in most vehicles allows right-handed drivers to become complacent. While all the southpaws have to pay more attention.

Well, all that concentration must be paying off, there's a study out now that has found left-handed people are better drivers.

The study focused on the driving habits of 1500 drivers for a 10 year period. What it found was left-handed people get into fewer accidents than right-handed people.

The author of the study says, quote, "Because we drive on the right side in this country, left-handed drivers may be used to a constant revision of their instincts, keeping them more on their toes and ready to react to sudden threats."

So all you lefties out there, take that left hand and pat yourself on the back. Nice job!

Now the question becomes, what kind of drivers do ambidextrous people make?
