A former elementary school custodian accused of soliciting sex with minors over the Internet has changed his plea.

Casey Godfrey, 31, appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge John Simko recently and pleaded guilty to Enticement of a Minor Using the Internet.

The Rapid City man faces a mandatory minimum of ten years in prison. He could receive up to life imprisonment.

Authorities say that between July 2013 and January 2014 Godfrey used the Internet to entice two girls under the age of 18 to engage in sexual activity.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Simko is expected to recommend Godfrey's plea to be accepted by the District Court.
