Six soldiers of South Dakota Army National Guard's Detachment 48 returned home on Saturday to a throng of grateful people at Rapid City Regional Airport.

Present were South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard , US Senator Mike Rounds, and other South Dakota representatives.

According to KOTA, this was the third mobilization for Detachment 48 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
