It is time for Speaker of the House John Boehner, and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to resign.

As individuals they may not be the entire problem with the dysfunctional government in Washington, but they certainly are the faces we have come to know, distrust, and dislike.

The never ending quibbling over small and large issues is part of the beauty of our government. Debates and disagreements on philosophy, policy, and principals are to be expected and welcomed.

However, our leaders don't seem to know when it is time to stop the quibbling and make decisions to keep the country moving. While "compromise" is not a real four letter word, it appears to be much worse than that in Washington.

From my perspective, neither party, nor the President can take and hold the high moral ground on the issue of running our government. Personally, I think they should all resign, since they all have failed to do the jobs we elected them to do.
None of them have the understanding of their role in this debacle, nor the courage to do the right thing and step aside.

Asking all of them to step down would be greeted by the "deer in the headlights" look, finger pointing to the other side, and media releases touting how they are working in our best interests.

When sports teams have losing seasons, coaches and managers are replaced. It is a regular event. I am very tired of being the victim of this losing team.

Now is the time for Senator Harry Reid and Speaker John Boehner to get out of the way.
