Local theater company, Monstrous Little Theatre Company, is set to open their latest project entitled, Down the Road.

Down the Road by Lee Blessing is the story of a husband and wife journalist team that interview a serial killer for a new book. As they delve deeper into his twisted world, they ask themselves if they are doing the right thing.

“We picked Down the Road, not only because it’s a powerful piece of theatre, but also because we think it exposes some of the unspoken thoughts our culture has about violence,” says Debbi Jones, Artistic Director of MLTC and director of Down the Road.

This production is recommended for mature audiences only.

Performances are July 23-24 and 28-31. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Washington Pavilion.

Even though tickets are purchased at the Washington Pavilion, performances are at The Bakery, 910 N Main Ave, Sioux Falls, SD.

"We are super excited to see MLTC add a critical component to the social conversation using live performance," said Clint Brown, co-founder of The Bakery, "[and] we hope to see way more of this in the future."

Down the Road is presented by special arrangement with DRAMATISTS PLAY SERVICE, INC.
