As South Dakota celebrates its 125th anniversary, Wagner is celebrating it's 114th Labor Day Celebration.  I've attended the event for the last 44 years (yes, all my life).  I was born and raised in Wagner, South Dakota.  Every year, Wagner hosts a thee-day festival with a carnival midway, kids' parade, Figure 8 race and many more family fun events.  The biggest event of the whole weekend is the Labor Day Parade.  It starts at 10am on Monday (September 1).  The theme this year is 'Celebrating South Dakota's 125th Annivesary.'  There will be floats, horses, classic cars and tractors, marching bands, politicians and so much more!

Here's a list of events for the weekend.  We hope you can make it to Wagner for our annual Labor Day Celebration.
