If you've lived around here for a while, you already know there is no shortage a fun things to do during the summer months. Every week it seems like there are so many little events and festivals going on all over the Sioux Empire. And another big one is just a little over a week away.

Want to experience the feel and fun of small town life? You'll get your chance for 3-days during the annual "Tea Pot Days" celebration on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 19-21st in Tea South Dakota.

Tea Pot Days is jam packed full of food, fun and entertainment for the entire family.

It all starts Thursday with the Mighty Thomas Carnival from 5:00 P.M. to dusk. Followed by the crowning of Ma and Pa Tea Pot at 7.

Friday brings the Car and Motorcycle Show and Shine from 6-9 P.M. Then, the Tea Steak House Outdoor Concert featuring the "Driven Band" from 9 till 1 A.M.

On Saturday, June 21st, get ready for a Pancake Breakfast, Cow Pie Bingo, a Craft and Art Fair in the city park, coed Mud Volleyball, and the Tea Pot Days Parade starting at 10 that morning at the Tea High School.

The 5th annual Bikers and Boxers Poker Run goes from 11-1, followed by a Bean Bag Tournament and free swimming at the Tea Pool. Plus, they'll be free music in the park with Sugar Daddy from 11:30-3:30 P.M. and again that night with the Black Water Band from 6:30-10:30 P.M.

And Tea Pot Days concludes Saturday night with a fireworks display starting at 10:30 in the Tea City Park.
