Taylor Swift is Harper's Bazaar's December/January cover girl, dishing to the fashion mag about her very real clothing dilemmas, as well as her new album, 'Red.'

In the feature, the country singer admits, “I’m in a predicament where I can’t wear a dress twice or else it’s pointed out in magazines. So unfortunately I have to shop for dresses all the time."

There are certainly worse problems to have, but since dresses are the 22-year-old star's go-to item, we can see why the constant need to shop can be exhausting. Still, Swift doesn't plan on switching up her wardrobe for the sake of convenience.

"There’s just something so feminine about a dress,” she says. “Whether it’s a summertime dress that makes me feel carefree, an evening cocktail dress that makes me feel fancy or a vintage dress that makes me feel like a ’50s housewife -- which I enjoy feeling like, for some reason -- I just really like dresses."

Swift does trade her frilly frocks for a variety of pants in the accompanying photo spread, though, while also discussing her latest album, which she says is "about the tumultuous adventures and misadventures and love and loss that I've experienced in the last two years."

Swift has has plenty of boyfriends and breakups, but she says relationships will always be a source of inspiration when it comes to her music. "Some combinations of people are toxic, you know? You have to find the right one that isn't just going to explode into fiery ash and destruction."

She adds, "Despite all of that and how unpleasant it is, as a writer you get a lot from it. It's a crazy justification system. You know that guy you really wish you could erase from your memory? But then the answer is track six, eight, 12, and 13." Swift's issue of Harper's Bazaar hits newsstands on Nov. 27.
