"Old school" students will remember the time the teacher intercepted a note (gasp!) and read it in front of the entire class. It was mortifying. Especially if you were asking someone out on a date, or worse, complaining about the teacher.

Fast forward a few nanoseconds in tech and teachers can intercept "tweets", electronic messages sent into orbit from a cell phone, unscrambling code and multiple lines of data, back to earth at the speed of light to the mobile device in the hand of the student in the desk 3 feet away.

That was then and this is now. Jimmy Kimmel inspires this hilarious video in which these  high school teachers read their students’ mean tweets about them.

This should make homeroom mighty uncomfortable, wouldn’t you say?
