Teddy Bridgewater has a dislocated knee and torn ACL according to a statement from the Minnesota Vikings.

"Teddy suffered a complete tear to his ACL and other structural damage," the team said in a statement Tuesday evening after Bridgewater underwent an MRI. "Fortunately, there appears to be no nerve or arterial damage."

According to Ben Goessling of ESPN, Bridgewater dropped back to pass during a drill, planted his foot and immediately went down.

Trainers immediately rushed to his side and began assisting him, while he was grabbing his left leg.

Practice was immediately halted and called off for the day as well.

At 4pm CT, Mike Zimmer held a press conference from Winter Park and told reporters that first and foremost that their thoughts were with Teddy as he is just a "great kid".

Zimmer showed tremendous candor and expressed raw emotions when discussing the impact Teddy has on the team and the injury.

Shaun Hill currently would take over as the starter although many believe the Vikings will either pick up a free agent QB or trade for one very soon.
