The roundup continues in the drug-related home invasion case. One more arrest was made Wednesday night.

Members of the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18 year-old Elton Fields of Sioux Falls on charges of First Degree Burglary and Attempted First Degree Robbery. The charges originate from the incident on South Louise Avenue on July 19.

Here is the compliation of police action so far in the home invasion case. The five people believed to be part of the home invasion have been taken into custody are the aforementioned Fields, 19 year-old Lucas Sutton who was arrested on July 27, 19 year-old Vladislov Romanov who was arrested on July 23 and a 17 year-old from Tea who was found shortly after the crime was committed. The 17 year-old from Brandon who was stabbed in the melee is still recovering in the hospital with his arrest pending.

As far as the continuing investigation in this case, Officer Sam Clemens leaves the possibility for more fallout. “There’s a chance that we could have others that are charged in connection with this. They weren’t actually inside the apartment, but may have had some other dealings associated with this home invasion.”

Police are still looking for the 18 year-old woman who shared the residence that was targeted. Clemens says if she is not found a warrant will be issued for her arrest. The man who shared the apartment, 19 year-old David Zutz was arrested July 19 and faces numerous drug charges.
