The great thing about summertime in the Sioux Empire is it's always filled with a variety of fun things to do.

Another one comes up on Saturday and Sunday, July 26th and July 27th, it's the 2014 South Dakota Peach Festival at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls.

You'll be able to enjoy peaches from the Georgia orchards both days, along with peach food and drinks. In addition to everything peaches, they'll also be a variety of other foods and vendors, concerts and live music, kids activities, inflatables, specialty beer, face painting, games, contests, prizes and more!

The event runs 8:30-10:00pm on Saturday, the 26th and 11:00-5:00pm on Sunday, the 27th.

You can park your car at one of three different shuttle bus lots in Sioux Falls and get a ride to the festival. The cost to park a vehicle is only $10.00!  Hop a shuttle bus for just $3.00 per person, round-trip, or load up the entire family on a family shuttle pass for only $10.00, round-trip.

The Peach Festival benefits Special Olympics of South Dakota.
