While we're still a few weeks away from the debut of 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' Sony has premiered another clip from the film, and this one dispenses with all the danger and villainous threats, instead focusing on something a little more lighthearted and fun. Spidey shows off his epic free fall and web-slinging skills in the latest bit of footage, giving us a respite from all the madness -- but don't worry, it's still a lot of action.

Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) sure does seem like he's having the time of his live in the above clip, what with all the shouts of "woo hoo!" as he free falls down into the city below, swinging through buildings with the greatest of ease. We've peeped a little of this scene before in the trailers, but the 40-second clip shows us the extended version, and it's pretty glorious.

But Spidey won't be having fun for too long because he's got a lot to contend with in the upcoming sequel: there's the safety of his girlfriend, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), whose life is threatened by tons of new villains, including Electro (Jamie Foxx), Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan), and Rhino (Paul Giamatti). And as director Marc Webb has assured fans, the Sinister Six -- an array of six deadly villains -- will be teased at the end of the film, to become the focus of Spidey's conflict in the third film.

'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' hits theaters on April 18.
