The Best TV Show You're Not Watching: No, You Shut Up!

I'm no stranger to trying to describe the odd things I like to someone. Trying to tell people why MST3K is one of the best thing in the history of things is like trying to explain PewDiePie to someone born before 1990 (he was great on South Park though).

Anyways - I have to tell you about the show No, You Shut Up!. It's hosted by my favorite comedian Paul F. Tompkins. It features comedic discussion on the issues of the week. There a rotating panel made up of representatives from different parts of American society. Oh, and it's an improvised puppet show where any attempt at a real discussion quickly devolves in proper goofiness. Here, just watch this clip.

The puppets are from Henson Alternative, a division of the Jim Henson Company that produces more mature content then traditional Muppet stuff. There's Hotdog, clueless Hollywood wannabe; Armond Mite, film critic; Bigfoot the Libertarian hermit; political radio host Bo Bettle; Oliver Pouch, the opossum congressman and so many more.

The show is on the Fusion network Thursdays at 10:00 pm. Fusion isn't carried on our local cable system, you can see it on DIRECTV and Dish. You can also catch full episodes and clips on the show's YouTube channel.
